Our commitment.
Midday Drip is committed to keeping our website accessible to people with disabilities. Specialty coffee should be reachable to anyone who wants it. We design and develop the site to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we test against those standards regularly.

What we do.
Specifically, we work to make sure the site:
- Has descriptive alt text on every product image and brand image
- Maintains a minimum 4.5:1 color contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text
- Is fully navigable by keyboard alone — no mouse required
- Has visible focus states on every interactive element
- Uses semantic HTML so screen readers can parse the page structure
- Includes ARIA labels where needed (cart, navigation, social icons)
- Avoids autoplay video, flashing content, and other accessibility hazards
- Renders cleanly at 200% zoom on standard screens

Known limitations.
We're a small operation and we work to fix issues as fast as we find them. Some known limitations we're actively addressing:
- Some older blog posts may have images without alt text — we are auditing the journal and adding descriptive alt where missing
- The Klaviyo email signup popup is a third-party component; if you have trouble with it, you can subscribe directly by emailing mira@middaydrip.com
- The Shopify checkout flow is third-party; Shopify is WCAG 2.1 AA compliant but if you encounter issues let us know and we will help complete your order manually

Tested with.
We periodically test the site with:
- NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers
- Keyboard-only navigation (no mouse)
- Browser zoom at 200% and 400%
- Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge — current and one prior major version
- iOS Safari and Android Chrome on mobile
